There is a feeling of great fulfillment when a person finds themselves right where they want to be when it comes to a place to volunteer. That is the case for Noah Bartholomay.
Noah was on the search to find a place to volunteer so that his time would directly benefit those in his community and MOWMP checked all those boxes!
With his involvement in other non-profits, he has learned that working at MOWMP with the morning shift of sandwich making and food assembly (think of the I Love Lucy chocolate factory scene) that a team effort has to work in order to provide the highest quality of service to those in need in our community
One of the best experiences he has encountered with MOWMP is the wonderful and caring individuals with nothing but love for this community.
Noah has made lasting relationships with those he works with and all the hard-working volunteers along the way.
Noah is an artist. He is a small business owner who owns a private tattoo studio called Harbor Light Tattoo located in Monterey. A few of his fellow volunteers now have new designs by Noah.
Noah and his wife have lived on the peninsula for 15 years. They also volunteer their time and resources to Peace of Mind Dog Rescue. Along with his wife who is a board member at POMDR, their business holds a yearly fundraiser for the organization. They have 3 fur babies, 2 of which were adopted from PMODR. When asked what you would tell someone who is considering volunteering at MOWMP, Noah replied “I would highly recommend volunteering at MOWMP for it is a wonderful way to give your time and energy to this community. Everyone that works and volunteers is amazing and clearly loves what they do. When you volunteer here you will experience a sweet and loving team of folks looking to do their best for the Monterey peninsula community.”
